I am looking for a used Ransom Rest metal base.  Let me know if you have one available and what it will cost with shipping to Tallahassee Florida.

Windage base? Or metal base to mount on.

I'm looking for the metal base to mount the unit on, not the windage base.

My opinion is to mount the base to a hardwood / heavy laminate plywood base, then mount that to the anchor bolts in a concrete or metal pedestal. You need a vibration dampener to get the most consistent results from my experience. I'm sure others have different opinions, but I have tried both and that is my preference.
