Dillon Casefeeder question
Dillon Casefeeder question
With lots of help and advice from others on this forum and a few tweaks, I have now got my case feeder working quite well.
However, I do still occasionally find that cases hang up against the stainless steel "kicker" in the mouth of the bin.
I notice that the kicker can be adjusted to sit in any of a series of grooves in the plastic.
Has anybody determined which groove is for what? I've tried near / middle / far positions, but am not seeing any difference in frequency of hang-ups.
Help please.

In the case feeder manual it tells you what position to put it in for the caliber loading.
Or is the factory setting not working for you?

You missed the pic of my case/bullet feeder above? The “pay attention when reloading” groove is what I was referring to.radjag wrote:Thanks Tony. But which groove?
Sorry, not constructive and a feeble attempt at humor.

Ah! Read the manual! Thanks Expendable.
I had forgotten that there is a separate manual for the case feeder - I just looked at it (for the first time
).
the part in question is called the Case Feeder Cuff. seems that for pistol brass the middle position is recommended. OK, I will put it back to that and try again.
