The day after I get everything working perfectly on any gun, the time I feel "confident" is the next time I bring that same gun and gear to the range, and try to use it the same way as my previous time.
It's a lovely feeling when the gun does just what I expect.
More likely, something (probably me) has changed.
I've been thinking of "confidence" for weeks now, wondering how I can achieve it. Unfortunately, things never seem "identical" to last time. There's always...... something.
(I have FAR more confidence in my photo gear, or my computer, as they always do the same thing time after time. I *know* what's going to happen, and it does. Always.)
