I'm not sure what "normal" price is, but there is 1k on Gb for 255 right now.

In today's market $255 for 1000K is not out of line.  Not going to find jacketed for less but of course there is always cast bullets from Brazos.  Just ordered 45 pounds or a little over 1700 bullets (180 grain flat base) for $140 shipped.
