Baikal IZH-46M as New
I already had one of these and keeping it. Find this one local in a storage sale. The owner said it was shot only few times and then put back in the box. It shows it's new.
I will post a photo later today. Price is $595 shipped to Cont. US. Paypal Only.

Just a point, it's been shot, so it's not new, its ANIB. Then you have to consider the age of the seals and all that.

Re: Baikal IZH-46M as New
Firstly, The gun shows no signs of use. Even the new ones have been shot and tested in factory.
Secondly, it comes with new complete set of seals.
Thirdly, there is nothing wrong with the seals, the gun is tested and shoots very accurate and strong.
Please dont make assumptions and call them "point" and then make low ball offers in PM.
Have a good day!

first off I never offered to purchase it. I have one. I'm, not sure where you received a low-ball offer but it was not from me. 2nd, you stated the previous owner shot it. Therefore, by definition, it's used almost new in box, BUT NOT new.
Now go take your valium and untwist your boxers.

To add to that my other point on seals was simply pointing out that airguns that sit for a time can experience seal problems. If you read the owners manual they explain that and offer a maintenance solution. There is no way to know if the maintenance has been carried out short of a tear down and an inspection or trusting the word of the seller and even then an older gun may experience issues not far down the line.

Re: Baikal IZH-46M as New
I just checked to make sure since I could have sent you a PM simply to talk BUT nope didn't send you anything. In fact I haven't been very active on this site except to see what's for sale in the PCP arena, not ssp.
So to be clear to you and the others, I NEVER PM'd you and I certainly didn't low ball you. I speak voice-to- voice before I purchase anything.
So before you imply that I low-balled you, please check your records. It was probably someone else.

Not sure why you're shitting on his post. It's fair to call it like new if shot a few times by the previous owner while still in perfect cosmetic condition with unaltered grips. Never figured out why people feel inclined to denigrate other people's ads.

I'm not shitting on his post. And I have no comment re his pricing, just the verbiage.
Consider:If I drive my new car off the lot, it is used. I purchase a new SIG P-210 and run a few rounds through it and bring it back, it's used. It's as simple as that.
I purchased a used MP-46 with all the same goodies, box and all but it was advertised as used. The same criteria should be used here just like the gun dealers. In Gun Broker you list it as ANIB, not new.
That's all.
Done.

Re: Baikal IZH-46M as New
Advertized AS new, fewpost down advertised LIKE new. What's the problem? Used like new condition is acceptable wording. He never said here I have new gun for you, just shot a little. Although that would still be acceptable. Buying new off the shelf has NO guarantee of seals. It can be new on the shelf for 50 years and crumble in the hands of first owner. Dealers don't have to list it as new old stock. In fact they list gun show or tried, handled, scratched items as new old stock or just new blem or even new. We should not hate on listing for that or the pricing. Let potential buyer decide. Unless something is grossly misrepresented.
That said you guys are all great on this forum )))

r-Tornello:
I am glad you already have one. Then what the hell are you doing in this thread?
Did I or anyone else in here misrepresented an item to you? Sold you a gun with old and damaged seals?
To all others interested in this gun:
If a gun is stored correctly, which is never with the breech closed, the breach seal will have no tension on it and will last a long time. Anyone who has used these guns knows that with correct storage and maintenance thousands of shots can be fired over a long period of time without the need to change the seals. This gun has less than 50 shots fired, according to previous owner statement and physical condition of the gun itself.
And, even when the seals need changed, they are readily available for a very low price.
Please disregard the negative comments. I stand behind anything I sell. If you find any cosmetic or functional blemish on this gun I will refund your money, including the shipping.

I'm not going to lock it. I want everyone to see that we don't tolerate snippy, passive-aggressive douchebaggery here. Me and the other admins are judge and jury.
R.tonello is banned.
Problem solved.
Also, as an owner of one of these, the odds of the seals going bad from sitting are very low. It would probably take 30 years for them to go bad.

Rob,
I think, banning R.Tornello alone is not appropriate. IMHO, both him and OP are guilty of splitting hair as to how to verbalize the description of what is being offered for sale. Both didn't have a common sense to stop at midpoint, and pressed on trying to stress on their arguments. I think, OP should be banned as well, especially taking to account that he is using this forum to flip opportunity purchase for profit, - that is the base for as to how I read his own description how he obtained item he's offering here.

I didn't read any intent to decieve or escalate from the OP.
I decided against taking action against the OP.
I would never discourage a gun owner with a target pistol to hesitate selling here. It's how we get access to these items that are rarely available locally.

Re: Baikal IZH-46M as New
Richard is a great guy from my prior dealings with him as I eyeballed some of his sales.
I am +1 with AP that both guys should have stopped it on time and asked moderator to clear comments.
As far as profit and what so not, that's a seller's decision, as well as buyer's decision what to buy and for how much. What should be stopped is gross misrepresentation and fraud, which seldom occurs here. Else we should all be friendly with common interest in the sport and gear.
