Got the urge...

Got the urge and bought a Ruger Wrangler...never had a single action cowboy 6 gun.
This one is in tungsten cerakote. The barrel is steel, as is the cylinder. The frame is
aluminum alloy with a zinc alloy grip frame.  It shoots 22LR about 1.5" low and 22 short
about 1" low. I guess I can try other loads to find one that prints higher. 
The shorts shot a better group than the LR.  I hated the black plastic grips
and put on a nice set of carved wood grips.  See picture below.

Lower velocity loads usually group a little higher. If you are using regular high velocity LR, a standard velocity just may be the ticket.

I was using Blaser 22LR at about 1200 fps. the shorts state they move at about 1095 fps. I will try some CCI standard velocity and some other standard rounds that I have (Geco, Norma) to see what they do.
It is just a fun gun to shoot and not waste a lot of ammo.

I recently noticed that the Wrangler and Sig P365 are the top sellers on Gunbroker. Looks like you are in good company.

I shot one a little while back.  Fun little handgun.  I plan to pick one up when available locally.

It's also nice when you have someone who wants to try shooting a handgun but is not experienced.  As a single action, it's a bit safer.  And of course there's the cowboy (or cowgirl) appeal.
