Hammerli 208 international - SOLD PENDING FUNDS.
I bought this gun because it came with an assortment of accessories. Most notably, the heavy Barrel Weight that I had been looking for.........for my 208S.
The barrel weight did not fit properly, and I do not believe that it was designed for any Hammerli 208. S- or not.
I was a little disappointed about that. However, the good news is, I can do just about anything with just about any gun, so I milled it out to exacting angles, where I can slide it on the length of the barrel.
It's on my 208s.
I did not know that the Gun that came with part that I needed would be so incredibly nice.
The metal work is pristine for a 30 plus year old gun. I do not believe that this gun was used much.
I tested it's functionality because I do not want to sell anything to anyone, that is sub par and not up to excellent standards.
In other words, this gun is , as stated, pristine.
There is 0 rust spots anywhere.
Gun has two stage trigger , and believe me when I tell you, it's trigger is a notch above excellent.
Gun has toggle safety switch inside rear sight, marked, safe and fire.
Gun has 208S trigger guard and also comes with 208 international trigger guard.
Gun has grooved barrel for mounting an optic as can be seen in photos. No need for sight rail. unless you just want one.
80 gram barrel weight.
Gun came from an estate sale, previous owner is deceased.
Has red and white hammerli box and all paper work.
Many will be asking themselves, " well I wonder how accurate it is?" Trust me when I tell you, at 50 feet you will shoot a gnat off an elephants ass with this gun. It is highly accurate and it is easy to shoot accurately.
I shot at only 50 feet ( about 16.5 yards) because it's wearing a red dot and I can get inside a 1/2 inch target diamond at that range, with this red dot sight on a low setting.
See photos below for what it did. And it was easy to do. The 5 shot grouping is well under 1/4 inch ( more like in the 1's or below). The bullseye is 1/2 inch on this birchwood casey target.
This is a tried and proven accurate gun, up to my standards. My standards are such that I refuse to sell anything to anyone that is a piece of crap, or inaccurate. My standards of inherent accuracy are extremely high. Only very accurate guns are interesting to me.
Functionality is flawless. This gun is NOT a Jamo-matic.
Target was shot using Eley Bullseye pistol X.
The only thing that I found is that the previous owner sanded down the trigger finger side of the grips ( right side) for a better fit to his hand. Some of that went into the stippling.
So I'm disclosing that now. I can do anything with guns, including refinishing the grips with a super high end finish that feels like glass and looks the part. Any color you want, but the price goes up from there.
I can go into this gun right on down to the pins and springs, re-grease the engaging surfaces and clean it up real nice, adjust the trigger where you want it, though I don't believe it needs it. Again, the price will go up. Let me stress this once more, I do not believe that this guns need any of this as this point. The gun has been used but it appears not to have been used, much.
I have contemplated keeping this gun, and trust me when I tell you that is exactly what I will do if I can't get what I want for it.
I'm offering up a really nice, tested, highly accurate 208 to those of you looking for a Hammerli 208.....so there's that.
You will get exactly as described, what you pay for. I'm a man of my word.
The red dot sight, nor the rings, come with the gun.............but if you want it with the gun, I'm willing to entertain the idea.

I bought this pistol from SilentAssasin and am very satisfied. We had great communication through out the transaction. Everything he said about the pistol is true. I would not hesitate to do business with him again.
