I have not been able to find any information on Hammerli Date of Manufacture base on the serial numbers on the gun.
Is there an old site / link anyone can help?

Is there a date code (2 capital letters) on the left front side of the frame?

No, not seeing any letter on the frame. SN 43XXX.
