Cleaning brushes thread type

What is the thread type on Hoppe's cleaning brushes for .22, .38 and .45 calibers? Is it standard for all makers?

The Hoppe's pistol brushes are 8-32 threaded.
Dewey, Pro Shot, and Bore Tech pistol brushes are also 8-32

If you get a hold of Mil-Spec 38 or 22 rifle brushes, you'll find they might be 8-36.
