Bul 1911 ??

Anyone ever use a Bul 1911 for competition ? Local shop has one for sale at a good price and it sure is pretty. But don't know if they are any good. I'm sending my Range Officer in for some work (barrel) and need something to shoot in the meantime. Slide is nice and tight but the bull barrel has me concerned.

I will speak for what I saw first hand.  BUL open gun, set up like STI DVC Open.  It was exquisitely made.  Everything was so well executed that I handled it in awe and thought to myself that other manufacturers got nothing on BUL.  It was that good.  All lines were perfectly blended, every detail had a great amount of attention.  Lockup, trigger, tightness, all amazing.  Range buddy shoots is very well, but then he shoots it fast.  Groups are great.  I would not hesitate to own one.

Last I checked bull barrel was not legal for CMP EIC, but I have one in my EDC 1911.

Bought a 10mm with bull barrel, its one shootin machine!!!barrel fit is nicely done,
Shoot all lead,up to 1400fps,,,shiney bore,,very happy with how clean it runs.

Got it ! Like it ! Shoots well.
