I decided I needed to take the cobweb’s off one of my 38’s that was collecting dust. I hadn’t shot it in a year or more.
Put up a repair center and paced off 50 yds out in the hills and shot 10 rds. No bench or spotting scope. I had just shot my .22 conversion, so I was ready:)
The wide shot was a good shot, involuntary shoulder muscle twitch: straight in called shot.
Joy to shoot; accurate, mild recoil and 2.5# trigger pull.

Nice, while I don't shoot enough to be a master with the 22 or my 45 I do have a 38 special 1911 or a S&W Model 52 on my bucket list.

Have the ammo. Now I need to buy me a .38 sp. wadcutter pistol.
Sold mine in the mid 80's

Dave,
1) Don't spend your money on another pistol!
2) Instead, make money by selling that old, dusty ammo!
3) Everybody wins!

Maybe we could arrange a trade......38SPL for fresh water? Hear you guys need it.

I shot mine yesterday in a local 3 gun 1800 match, tons of fun. I will add if you have one, you should shoot it!
