Pre-2000 Buckmark sear spring ?
The Pre-2000 Buckmark Varmint & Target models have a special shaped sear spring (fits into adjustment screw in back of frame). Does anyone know if a standard, current production sear spring would work in these pistols-resting on the frame like the non-adjustable models?
Thanks in advance, Russ

Just a wild stab here, the S&W 22-A was very similar to the older Buckmarks. It’s also out of production but there might be some parts out there.

Call browning, they have had parts for older buckmarks in the past. Pretty cheap too...

nope....the last time I shot mine at Perry the armorer spent most of an hour trying to get the weight up before he noticed the additional screw.jwax wrote:Is that spring the subject of the famous, "Heggis Flip"?
If you flip the spring it won't ever make weight. At least in my gun .
