Hi, I am in need of a model 41 ejector if anyone has one they would like to sell me. Mine actually cracked during my second 2700 ever (I bought the 41 in rough shape from gb). Thanks

Bob

Google is your friend.  There is, based on what I have read and been told, nothing magical about the Ejector.

I ordered a spare spring and ejector.  Can’t remember if it was from one of Distributors like Brownells or off eBay.  The aftermarket Voltquartzen gets high marks.

Thank you, but I need an ejector not an extractor, I added a pic.

It's more commonly referred to as the slide stop.

Brownells sells the part, although it currently shows as out of stock.

Greetings,

Call Smith & Wesson.

They just might send you a new part.

Cheers,

That's a very good point.

Most firearm manufacturers are eager to keep their products running in order.

I saw that one unfortunately it is beyond my current capabilities, I can cut the ejector portion but fitting the pivot pins that I do not have (the broken one I have seems to be 1 piece) and I am not sure you can get them separately, will be difficult at best. Thank you and please keep sharing I really appreciate it.

Greetings. I purchased that part and a few others awhile back directly from S&W. They even threw in a recoil spring With help from this and other forums
I was able to fit the part myself. Probably well within your capabilities.

I wonder.   The slide hitting the stop could stress the rear mass anti-clockwise.  It would take close examination to see how/why.

I can confirm that, had to do some fitting not long after I got it, when I realized what was going on. If I knew then what I know now would have sent it back to the guy instantly. It's a good learning experience but bad for the wallet.

I got a new stop from Gil Hebard some time ago.  It was not a simple drop in.  It took quite a while to fit the round pivot part to the frame, and to get the up and down just right.

Lifetime warranty on Smith & Wessons. No use buying one if you can get it for free. It can't hurt to try them first.
