Beginning in 2023, the Bullseye Tournament of Champions Invitational will pit the Top Finishers from the biggest, most prestigious matches across the country in a 1-Day, 1-Relay Nearly-Winner-Take-All match for $2000 (based on full line).  The reason for "Nearly," is that there is a Runner-Up prize of up to $400 if there are more than 20 competitors.  Only 24 shooters will take the line on October 30, 2023 at the Mid-Carolina Gun Club in Orangeburg, SC.  The documents attached outline the Match and the Qualifying Process.  Please note that Sanctioning has not been completed, as the aim is to have this match sanctioned by both the NRA and the CMP.

If you would like to be on the mailing list for updates regarding this match, please email Tom Davis at HurdisTDavis@gmail.com with the subject line "BToC Updates"
If you would like your match to be considered as a Spring/Summer Qualifying Match*, please email Tom Davis at HurdisTDavis@gmail.com with the subject line "BToC Qualifiers"
If you would like to be in on the ballet dance going on for Dual Sanctioning a match, please email Tom Davis at HurdisTDavis@gmail.com with the subject line "Sanctioning"

FOR THOSE WHO  KNOW ME, NOTE THAT THIS IS A DIFFERENT eMAIL ADDRESS THAN YOU ALEADY HAVE.

Regards,
Hurdis (Tom) Davis
Match Director

* Generally, Spring/Summer Qualifiers are CMP or NRA Sanctioned State Championships or Regionals that have historically attracted 50+ shooters (with some leeway for recent COVID-depressed events).  There is a process for using the combined results of multiple events that don't quite have enough shooters.

The first Invitations have been earned, and there are no surprises here.  At the recent Desert Mid-Winter Championships, semi-locals John Zurek and John Bickar defended their home turf, taking the first and third Invitations, respectively.  The AMU's Carl Clegg grabbed the second Invitation, salvaging a little East Coast pride. First Leather went to 'tweener (at least geographically) Mason Talbert, who finished 1POINT behind Mr. Bickar.

The next qualifiers are the Dixie Match (Jacksonville, FL; Apr 28-30) and the Texas State Championship (Wichita Falls, TX; May 5-7).  Come on out and support these matches.

The BToC Invitees ( as of 2/22/23)
John Zurek (Accepted)
Carl Clegg (Accepted)
John Bickar

The tri state regional is always a good match . I try to go every year. Saturday is a full line but there is plenty of space for Sunday. Nj does it right were juniors shoot free. As far as the winner goes, I would put my money on Dave L or Rich K to get the invitation to the tournement
