Bullseye precision pistol.
Any one thinking about the future of this sport. I think we need to rebrand it. And call it precision pistol.

I have been shooting since the early 90s and there have been at least 4 different names for our sport. I still prefer Bullseye and that what I call it when talking to anyone about what we do. Precision is probably the closest in meaning and that is the current title but old habits die hard for me.

John's comments high lighted one of our problems, Why can't the oldest type of pistol competition use it's original name and keep it? Why couldn't we keep the original National Championship ranges? Why didn't NRA continue a cordial relationship w/ CMP instead of trying to hold them down?
Shooters have plenty of groups to squabble with w/o fighting among themselves!
