9mm Zero 115gr JHP-C
First topic message reminder :
I recently acquired some Zero 115gr JHP-C bullets as I've been told they are "the" 9mm bullet of choice for accuracy.

I have lots of Vihtavuori powder. N310, N320, N330, N340. And recommendations on a Bullseye load? (OAL and crimp info too please).
*I usually crimp to .378. I see a lot of folks crimping way tighter, down to .375 on their loads.
I've been reloading 9mm for 12 years. I've been reloading 38spl for 10yrs and 45acp for 4yrs. 9mm remains to be an elusive cartridge to me. I can get okay accuracy, but not clover leaf the same hole accuracy like 38spl or 45acp. Hence the quest for the 9mm Holy Grail continues...

Um, well, OK. Any load mentioned above will be a good load for your hi-power. Here is a 50 yd target for you.bragrhmbln wrote:ok, neat. well, if you ever get some valid 50 yard data I hope you share with the class. i have an old hi-power that I need to load some food for and am on the hunt for a good load for it.

yes hello, thank you Len! I meant the other guy who knew this bullet was good in his barrel, but he only does at 25 tards. this is exactly the stuff I needed- but to be sure, PP is Power Pistol, right?

My recollection is that when Hendo was dominating the HB scene he was using AMU-accurized 9mm pistols that printed sub-1" at 50yds. Perhaps Frank or Adam could reach out to the AMU and see if they can find out the recipe they were using. Or, if using factory ammo, the ammo they used.
