For Sale: Rare Smith & Wesson Model 16-4 revolver chambered in .32 H&R Magnum (.32 Magnum) with full lug 4 inch barrel. It has the factory S&W combat style wood grips. This model 16 is in like new condition. This model was only produced for a few years in the early 1990’s.

Price: $2000 plus shipping and FFL cost or local sale in or near Fort Smith, Arkansas to Arkansas resident (ID required).

That appears to my eyes to be a 4" barrel? Do you have any references or known shooters who can vouch for you?

Dave, you are correct. I will edit the listing. Thank you for the heads up. Just got confused trying to list multiple guns. Not sure who I would reference. I am sure some will doubt my listing due to the fact that I just joined. I am going to list these on other sites as well. I just thought this might be a good place to list it.

You could reference someone you shoot Bullseye with. You have listed your classification as Marksman. Even the lowest classification of Marksman has to be earned by shooting in several matches. Just a thought. Pictures taken of the revolver with something in the background would be nice. The pictures posted could be downloaded from anywhere. Just trying to be helpful.

Post a picture of the revolver with a newspaper published within the last week. While it may hint at your location it’s generic enough to be non-disclosing.

Thank you for the input. I do not mean to come off as untrustworthy. I will post a picture of the gun with something dated in the back ground. I do not get the paper but maybe an iPad in the background with the forum in it. I do try and take very good photos of anything I sell so I was disappointed that I could not upload my full resolution photos yet. If anyone is interested in either of the guns I have listed I will be happy to send a link to many more photos, discuss the sale over the phone, or meet in person if they are a Arkansas resident. Dated picture coming.

I think, I can help you. Please name the camera / lens and date when you took pictures that you posted.
You will not be able to post hi-rez photos on the forum as there are limitations for resolutions / size of files.

I took the original pictures with a Canon 1D X Mark II on June 27, 2023. I just took a couple of shots with my iPhone and a printout of this thread under both Smith and Wesson Model 16s. Hope this may calm some of the concerns.

So. Which K16 is actually being offered? The 4" or the 8", or both

This thread has been confusing right from the start. The latest photo just further confuses.

Not a good way to present a potentially nice gun for sale (btw, neither version shown is a main stream Bullseye gun. Although a 6" K14 magnum is an excellent tool for Harry Reeves or even International CF).

Both are for sale. The 4 inch Model 16-4 is offered at $2000 and the 8 3/8 Model 16-4 is offered in a different post for $2750. There are two separate listings. I included both in the last photo just to prove that I have both pistols and am not a scammer pulling pictures off the internet.

I am sorry for messing up the original posting for the 4 inch model. I can delete the posts if you guys like. I know I have made a poor first impression here.

I lived in Fort Smith for years and had to travel to Denver Co. to find a 16-4 6 in. gun. I still love it. Goid luck. Stop by Georges for me.

That is a long way to go for the right find. I will stop in George's soon I eat there often (I know the owner, Alex). It is a great place to grab lunch.

16-4 are nicest revólvers. I bought one in 6" forma an incredible price, Is a safe queen and very collectable.
