Does anyone know of an EIC service pistol match in New England?

Lockedback;

The Alan Cady Memorial series of 2700's, held At Pelham Fish & Game Club, Pelham, N.H. has EIC's. Here's a contact:  Matt Bartel, email       cmpnh@thecmp.org   .  This month's match is on the 19th, and the next one is June 9th. Maybe we'll see you there.

Good shooting,

Jack Foley

A little late but, Scarborough Fish and Game in southern Maine has one this weekend and the Lobster Match in September.  Everyone in New England should check out the Lobster Match at least once, it's a great match.

Someday. And I don't even like lobster. But it's definitely on my list.

I did not just hear that you don’t like lobster. I was pretty indifferent to it based on the chewy, tasteless, overpriced garbage you get in my area from places like Cousin’s Main Lobster.  Then we vacationed in Maine one fall and six dollars was exchanges for the biggest, sweetest, lobster roll you can imagine (literally at every roadside stand). It’s now my new religion.  Please commit, when you do decide to visit, to giving it a try. I wasn’t really impressed with the vacation but it is in my top five just for the seafood. Better than Seattle.

CMP NE games September 23-29,  VSRPA.org held at the Vermont National Guard Ethan Allen training center in Jericho, VT

JB you should definitely get to the Lobster Match.  Maine "The way life should be". Highly recommend
J's Oyster on the Portland Pier.  The best place to sit at the bar have a beer, eat steamed clams and lobster and people watch. I spent a lot of time in Maine growing up, still one of my favorite places on earth.

I like lobster rolls, but they're damn near $30 in my neck of the woods. I'll spend that on a steak.

Seriously, you need to shoot the Lobster Match. The lobster is optional, but it's a "bake", with wood fire below seaweed, which steam-cooks and bakes potatoes, corn, lobster, the real deal. The shoot is even better.

The turning target frames are special, too - aircraft aluminum that they only take out for "special" matches. Larry Carter spec'ed them, and they turn beautifully. It's that kind of event.
