Mike Meyers has passed away
First topic message reminder :
I regret to report that my Friend Mike Meyers has passed away recently. He was in India doing his yearly charity work when it happened. I met him at our club (HRPC Hollywood Fl) a fews years ago and we became friends. I would see him often, shoot his many pistols at his request and give my opinions. I enjoyed our conversations and will truly miss Mike.....a great loss. RIP Mike.

Re: Mike Meyers has passed away
I am sad to receive this news about Mike. He and I never meant in person, but we had many, many conversations regarding his love of the Model 52 pistol. I had a bit more experience with them and gladly passed on any info I could give him and he always appreciated the help. In fact I once wrote a lengthy email to him about my love of the Model 52 and it was loaded with things I have run into on occasion and the cures I came up with. Mike wanted to make public the email I wrote him to help others and I told him he could do so without hesitation if he thought it would help someone.
I know there are many on this and other forums that appreciate these fine old pistols, but Mike was exceptional in that regard. I had always hoped to meet him some day just to sit and chat, but I guess that day will have to wait for a while. Mike was truly one of the few really nice guys I have run into and he will be missed.

Rick H, l would enjoy your thoughts on the 52. It was my first real CF gun. I had a lot of information from Jerry Keefer when he rebuilt Amanda’s gun. I’ll have to try and find it
