Scope rings weight

I'd like to add a bit of weight to my H208S by using a heavier set of scope rings. My present set weighs 3.2 oz.

What size rings? What scope mount?

I have used Leupold PRW2 rings, which are steel and weigh 4.5 ozs compared to 2 ozs for aluminum Leupold Rifleman rings (1" versions for both)

The scope mount is Knapp and the scope is an Ultradot-Match Dot with 2-4-6-8 moa dots.
The original Ultradot low profile rings weigh 2 oz. and I just changed them last night to the 3.2 oz set. It made a difference today at the range. 

Seems that the front mounted counter weights feel more awkward as I geezer along.

Sorry, 30mm size……

My 30mm PRW2 rings weigh 4.6 ozs.  Here they are holding a Matchdot on my 208s with a RFO mount.  Whole rig weighs in at 3# 0.25 ozs 

By the way, you can slide that weight back.  It doesn't need to be all the way forward.  I normally run a 45g Trailside weight at the back end of the dovetail.  Experiment around and see what works best for you.

I like what you did with those O-rings. I never did like that slick smooth feel of the trigger. Are serrated triggers available for the H208s?

I like a heavier pistol too so I use Burris steel Zee-Rings on my HS Supermatic.
