WW244 in 45acp
Has anyone tried WW244 for bullseye loads? with the Alliant powder shortage just looking for alternatives.

I’ve used probably 5-6 pounds of it when I couldn’t get anything else. 5.3-5.6 under a 180 to run in my guns.

That sounds a little hot. I originally bought a lot of it because at the time it was cheep. I have been loading for short line practice. I load 4.6 for 180's, 4.3 for 200's, and 4.8 for 160's. You might want to go up a little for the long line. YMMVGreg Walloch wrote:I’ve used probably 5-6 pounds of it when I couldn’t get anything else. 5.3-5.6 under a 180 to run in my guns.
