Mags for 38 super

Just entering 38 super experience: got a Colt 1911, and some new Wilson magazines.  The Wilson mag
will not feed even a factory FMJ from the start, plus they are a tight fit. It appears to my eye that the mags
by Wilson are not designed anything like the Colt, with turned down lips vs open lips on the Colt mags.
Am I missing something here? Readily admit to being slow, but this looks obvious.

Wilson mags have never worked for me in 38 super or 45 ACP. I use strictly Chip McCormick mags and have no problems ever.

I use Metalform and Colt mags without any problems.

I've had no problems with my Wilson mags.

Please check if your mag has a spacer on the back part of the mag to make it 9mm compatible. It is a flat plastic that goes t the back of the follower. Open up the butt plate, remove spring and follower and the flat plastic spacer may be there installed. It is not held by anything (follower holds / rides it)  if it is there just remove it and reinstall follower, spring and plate.
Spacer reduces length for 9mm compatibility. My 2011 mags have (had) that.

Thanks for the replies. I am returning the Wilson and ordered some from Chip McCormick.  Wilson is ok taking them back, so no issue.
