Small Pistol primer to Small rifle Bench rest Primer

Not having Small Pistol primer at the moment I reload 38 Special WCHB  with some hi have very old CCI BR4 Small rifle Bench Rest.. I did not find any difference in my S&W-52/1 as point of impact and muzzle rise.. and a nice the soft feel.. Maybe I will continue to use the latter as happy from this new experiance!

For the last few years, due to the shortage and price of LPP, I got a deal on three cases of Ginex SRP made in Bosnia. I have been loading them in 45ACP small primer brass. They have been working great for practice. I still use large primers for matches.

I loaded SPP 45s for the first time a couple of years ago. I loaded 4.3 BE to adjust for the decrease in oomph from the primer, if any. It shoots good. As for the OP’s discovery, it will work in autos, but revolvers they may be too hard to work in revolvers. CCI BR small rifle primers are made with CCI magnum thick cups.
