High Standard 1911 in 7.62 Tokarev

This is an unusual caliber for a 1911. I'm not sure purists will approve, but it is intriguing.
7.62×25mm Tokarev.
Bottlenecked cartridges won't have that controlled feed of a .45 acp in a 1911, so I'd think the action and feel would be a lot different?
