Combine Harry Reeves & NRA Distinguished Revolver Matches

After reading comments about Harry Reeves & NRA Distinguished Revolver Matches falling by the wayside. Why not combine them into a new format that allows a 'Match Type Revolver" or a stock revolver. This would allow PPC, International or stock barrels, orthopedic grips and a dot sight if wanted.
It would still be called "NRA Distinguished revolver."
Thoughts?

Harry Reeves is a one time per year match at the NRA national championships.
Just as the NTI and NTT at the National Matches 
DR is just as any EIC and that’s the way it should stay.

I agree with Dane, especially with differences in frequency. 
Each was created for a specific purpose. Combining them takes away from that, as well as having to deal with the numerous differences in the rules.
