Hammerli 208 trigger

I have a 208 and I thought I had a pretty good trigger until I shot a friends 41. Is there anyway to get the trigger closser to the 41?  I have the trigger screw backed off as far as I can. Still feels a pound or 2 heavier then his.

Trigger type on your 208?

Take a picture of your trigger/side of the gun. On some of the older 208's there is a screw that changes the trigger from the international .22 trigger weight of 1000 grams (roughly 2.2 lbs) to the old centerfire trigger weight of roughly 3 lbs.

Thank you. I finally figure out how to get the forum back on my phone. I was able to get it adjusted. It is a single stage.
