CCI SV 50 round packs @ $12.99 yikes!
Too high even for 100 round boxes.
@ Able Ammo, they are always too high for my budget usually +30-50% but this (+300%) is outrageous. Last time I saw 50 packs (3 months ago) they were $4.99 @ Gander Mountain and I didn't buy any then.
I hope no one buys any, I hope it was a misprint, but unfortunately I think they are testing price acceptance levels.

I have seen CCI Green Tag and Select in the last week that was cheaper that the SV prices at AA, under $12. Have seen CCI SV plastic box of 100 under that price too.
As predicted those companies that squirreled the CCI SV away and hoped to make a huge profit are going to find out different as more and more ammo and componants become available. While most BE shooters shoot CCI SV I believe the companies have miscalculated just how small the BE comunity is compared to everybody else that shoots 22's and as 22 ammo goes CCI SV may be shot a lot but it isn't by any standards premium 22 ammo. And the plinkers out there are just as happy with cheap Rem Thunderbolts and will not pay the inflated prices for CCI SV.

Cheap Remmie Thunderbolts???
I keep seeing bulk packs of that stuff on WikiArms for like $14/100.
Still can't lay hands on CCI SV anywhere here. Got some still-untested expensive RWS, will probably resort to shooting Mini-Mags since that's the last stuff I could actually order in the 3 minutes before it sold out. Stuff (barely) holds the 10-ring at 50 yards...

Yep, cheap for Remington to produce. Remington saves a lot of money on powder and priming agent with all the duds that are in them.

They are this high because there are still people who refuse, or don't know how to find better prices and will pay this much for them. If people wised up and stopped paying these outrageous prices, the retailers would have to lower their prices in order to sell them.
Able Ammo is the last place I'd ever buy
When everything hit the fan I was using gunbot looking for CCI Standard Velocity. Up jumps Able Ammo as having it in stock. Wasting no time I jumped on their site and sure enough they had the stuff in stock and it was on SALE!!
It was $34.95 a reasonable price for A brick. Problem was that was for a box of 50. Thinking for sure that it was a typo I called AA and talked to a nice lady who confirmed that it was, in fact, $34.95 for 50.
I vowed to NEVER buy from Able no matter what the circumstance.

Ah, I will add Able Arms to my "Cheaper than Dirt" price gouger list.
I don't even look at their catalogs or flyers or even click on links to stuff CTD is selling.
Unless they do something meaningful in treating their customers better during EVERY "scare" for at least five years...never again. Never.
