EIC legal 185 gr FMJ SWC

I finally found some 185 SWC that are EIC legal with the new rules. I bought some. Not many left but thought someone here might be looking also.

From the link above, it indicates these are encapsulated bullets with no exposed lead.

Are these plated; i.e. Berrys bullets, or are they a typical jacketed bullet with a copper base pressed in after lead is swaged into the nose?

These are not plated like Berrys. They are a typical jacketed bullet. TMJ means total metal jacket. I have never found a plated bullet worth shooting but other people may have had different results.

Did we we get some word that changed the previous decision that JHP's like Hornady and Nosler are legal?

They are still legal or legal now depending on what you last heard. Rob got that clarified.

Sorry, I read the topic title completely wrong.

The Remington 185 fmj swc is as accurate as any hollow point. Problem is finding them in stock anywhere.
