Clean a Target... Show us!

First topic message reminder :

Just thought we could all use some Positive Reinforcement so I made this a "sticky" which means its always at the top in this topic. So when you shoot a clean target and want to hoot a little post it here for all to see! 


Here is what I did last night at our weekly indoor league, 50 ft on the NRA reduced target, shot Timed fire style in four strings of 5 shots, we hang two targets at a time. 100 6x and a 100 7x this was a first for me to clean two in the same set of targets. Ended with a 493 26x out of possible 500.
 

Anyone who wants to duplicate my 100 image, feel free.  However please look at many BETTER cleans from others in this thread, and qualify by the amount of effort spent getting to this point.

The rule book covers holes where more than the visible number could have been in the group, but in this case the hole is clearly too big for only two bullet passes.

Had a clean RF run tonight at practice with the Unique DES-69. Ended up with a 199 for RF.

It’s an easy gun to shoot. Wish there was a trick to stopping the weight from slowly creeping back towards the slide.

Yes, and there’s blue loctite and a bunch of torque involved (big fat screws and a pressure plate of sorts between the weight and barrel). It likes to creep. Still easier to deal with than my old High Standard—scope mount keeps shooting loose!

Instead of saying to myself, "Don't flinch", I now say, "Just shoot an X!".

After reading Ed Hall’s articles just a couple weeks ago, and starting to implement some of the concepts, I shot my first clean target in SF - my PB with a 91.
Still a long ways to go, but it’s a journey, not a destination.
