Used target 22's
Looks like Simpson LTD imported a bunch of used Walther, 41's, High Standard's, etc. Some are interesting like the UNIQUE MODEL DES-69....... Here is a link.

The Unique is a great shooter; little nose heavy with the bigger barrel weight and pain to mount a scope on it.

Simpson Ltd, also a good go to place for importing a firearm. The current strength of our dollar against the euro makes it a good time to buy in Europe.

I wonder if they can import me one of those PCP air pistols that IZMASH made as a successor to the IZH-46m....

What air pistol is that? I've never seen a PCP air pistol from them. As far as importing air pistols, you can do that yourself unless the host country throws up obstacles. It's nothing like importing a firearm.Rob Kovach wrote:I wonder if they can import me one of those PCP air pistols that IZMASH made as a successor to the IZH-46m....

Re: Used target 22's
The IZH-46m that I have now weighs 46.76oz...
That gun shoots great and costs a fraction of a PCP gun. The Baikal PCP version was $700 last time I saw a listing for one--in europe..

You won't import the IZZY right now. It's included in the banned list.

What banned list is that? Are you confusing this with the ban on some Russian firearms?jmdavis wrote:You won't import the IZZY right now. It's included in the banned list.

No Izzy's are coming in. I don't think it's some firearms, I think its the ban on most Russian imports.

Re: Used target 22's
I don't have a dog in this race (don't want a IZH-46M) but I would have to be shown that there's a restriction or outright ban on Russian air pistols. If it were true the list would most likely include a lot of other ordinary consumer products, as air pistols (of the type discussed here) fit into this category with most countries including the US. The current so called Obama ban is selective and designed to punish Russia for their involvement in the Ukraine. The only list I could find is one that targets some firearms, not all, most notably those made by Kalashnikov. Anything more than just targeted restriction I'm sure would have considerable consequences on both sides. I would suggest that if anyone wants a IZH-46M to pursue it until the trail runs dry.jmdavis wrote:No Izzy's are coming in. Re: Used target 22's
Anything from IZH is specifically banned in the executive order. IZH is part of Kalashnikov or vice versa.
Here is info from airgun blogs.

Re: Used target 22's
Again, show me where any air guns are banned, including those made by Kalashnikov. The blogs mentioned discuss the ban on firearms particularly Kalashnikovs and assume that they extend to air guns.jmdavis wrote:Anything from IZH is specifically banned in the executive order. Re: Used target 22's
No, NO izh airguns are coming into the country due to the executive order. Try to find a 46m or a 53 or any of the other popular IZH airguns. All products from the listed companies are banned. That includes things other than firearms.

Re: Used target 22's
I read the Executive Order and now see how it can include just about anything. So, I retract my earlier comments and defer to jmdavis's info. Shame on me for taking Kovach's bait.
