Question for match directors

As a match director, if a shooter was to enter an EIC Service Pistol match using a 1911 with a beaver tail grip safety and a magazine well, would you allow it?

Yes they are allowed in the new rules.  About the only things that aren't allowed are "ergo" grips, optics and ported barrels.

Yes.  NMbuzz, I believe I have a response posted in an old thread from the CMP that says that magwells are ok.  I don't have time to search for it now, but that's what my recollection is.

Yes as long as that 1911 is 45.  No other caliber 1911's are allowed.
