in a future i want to make a build of 1911 bullseye pistol with the correct parts and the best barrel for a real premium pistol.

You want a street rod build, or a NASCAR/racing build.

What's your upper budget limit?

Caspian steel govt 5'' frame and slide Kart barrel and bushing but Caspian is way far behind if you ordered today might not get it till Christmas. Buddy of mine ordered one at perry last year and got it last month.

only thing I'd change is getting an STI slide.

I've built them with both Caspian and STI and just find STI machining to be on target every time.. seems like the lug area is always perfect...

Just my preferences I guess.

I do use a ton of Caspian frames so go figure..

Thanks for your input. Don't use as many STI frames and slides out this way. I've had good success with the few that I've run across.

+1 on the STI slides.  Right on the numbers and I haven't found any surprises yet.

I am also fond of STI frames and slides..
I discovered them quite  by accident, when rebuilding a number of poorly built samples which utilized the STI products..
I have yet to have a bad one, and have two more in the shop now. I have not used any other STI parts outside of frames and slides..
