Does anyone have reloading recipes for 160 gr LSWC (in .45 to be clear) using any of the following powders?
- N310

- Titegroup
Thank you in advance.

160 works well with 4.4 of bullseye, and 310 4.5 with wst or tightgroup, or 320, this might feel a little stout but you have to push the 160s to get good accuracy, this is with a slide mount optic 45

DavidR,
So that I am clear, are you saying
4.4 of BE
4.4 of N310
4.5 of WST
4.5 of Tightgroup
4.5 of N320
Thanks.

I like 4.4 of WST with a Dardas 160 grain in my slide-mounted .45 wadcutter gun. Shoots a quarter size group at 25 yards. Have not tried it at 50 yards.

Yes although I'm not a fan of tightgroup for this light a bullet, but you can try it and see. It works great in the 185 and 200 lswc, this might help, the chart shows what powder burn rates are the same or close, you can see 310 and BE are the same, WST, 320 are very close too so they load the same.joy2shoot wrote:DavidR,

Re: 160 grain Lead SWC
4.4 N310 works for me. Seat the bullet as deep as possible.
Corrected, it is N310
Corrected, it is N310
