hi people,i want to know the rod of .38 lewis kit is the same of the 45 kit and fit the .45??

 the rubber tip fit in .38 lewis kit?? i only buy the adapter kit of .45 and work with .38 lewis rod?

The adapter kit simply has new properly sized screens and the specific rubber tip for the caliber

YES IT FITS THE 38 ROD .

BUT SAVE YOUR MONEY. GO TO YOUR LOCAL FOOD STORE. BUY A COPPER "CHORE BOY" POT SCRUBBER. IT'S WOUND COPPER MESH. YOU CLIP THE ENDS TO UNROLL IT INTO A SHEET. EASILY CUT WITH SCISSORS. CUT OUT A PATCH AND WIND IT ON A WORN BORE BRUSH OF THE APPROPRIATE CALIBER. NO SOLVENT NEEDED. A COUPLE OF PASS THRU THE BORE OVER SOME NEWSPAPER AND WATCH THE LEAD POUR OUT IN SHARDS. 2-3 BUCKS FOR A COUPLE OF CHORE BOY WILL LAST FOR YEARS.

BUT MAKE SURE ITS CHORE BOY THERE ARE SEVERAL KNOCK OFF BRANDS THAT USE COPPER WASHED STEEL MESH

Just recently, I read about the Chore Boys pure-copper cleaning pads trick. It removes leading like it's nobody's business.

i bought a box of two chore bore,i have kano kroil and jb bore compound. i will use the chore bore in my .45 barrel,thanks for the recommendation!!!
