Who's out there? Picked up a used p240 and think someone messed with all the trigger adjustment pixies.

Here is a link that may help you figure it out on your own.

Good luck and nice pistol by the way.

Greetings,

My P240 was "doubling" at random. I went crackers trying to decipher which trigger adjustment screws were out of tolerance.

Turns out, the grip screw was pushing on the magazine which, in turn, created drag on the disconnector.

Make sure the grip screws do not protrude into the magazine well.

Other-wise, the factory Owner's Manual is well documented.

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks Dave, I'll try and find a copy online.  Found the pilks website. On a side note do you feel it has a long reset after a shot? I've got the takeup and trigger weight where I like it.  Feels like I have to fully release trigger before I feel the click

Greetings,

Not sure what you mean by "long reset".

Is it possibly related to the trigger over travel stop screw? It is located inside the magazine well. Do not set it too close or you will damage the sear faces. Also, some Blue or Purple LocTite to keep the screw from moving.

Cheers,

Dave
