skaters tape

I recently purchased what I thought was going to be a small piece of skaters tape to use on a grip that needs some "roughage".
I ended up getting a sheet that's 1x4 feet!.  If you need any, and want to send me a self addressed stamped envelope, Ill be glad to share.

How did the tape work out on your grip ? I have been thinking about trying some.

It works great.  I just some very small pieces in areas that felt "slick" and its working.

What is Skaters Tape? I have been using that adhesive backed "Tape" that is put on stairs or slippery surfaces to stop slipping. Comes on an 8" ish wide roll X many feet.

Likely the same thing.  Skaters tape is made to put on the top of skateboards.  The product I have is very rough and clear so when you put it on the grip the color of the grip shows through.

I ended up with 3 feet of Skateboard tape.  Having a son that grew up on a skateboard and still has one and rides it at the age of 45 I knew what I was getting.  Mine is black wish it was clear but it is in the front strap of a 1911 which is black.  Stuff works great.  Beats surfboard wax.  Don

My stuff is jet black, I'd in interested in buying a sheet of the clear stuff, Where can I get it??

they had patterns coming out the wazoo and clear  abt $5 a sheet
I would guess your local skate shop would have it

Put a small piece on either side of 208s' slide at the back.  Now slide manipulation is easy.  Great stuff.

Anti-slip stair tape works good too. Buy it HD, OSH or Lowe's.

Jake - Did you receive the piece I mailed to you?  If so, how did you use it?
