For Sale: SA 45 Barrel and Bushing PRICE DROP

For Sale: Springfield Armory Match Grade (according to SA) 1911 45 ACP Barrel (with link and link pin) and Barrel Bushing. I never shot it. I bought the gun brand new then took the barrel out and sent it off to be turned into a wad gun. Asking $60.

Oh I saw the light a long time ago. My wallet took longer to catch up. It sucks that "Mil Spec" is attached to these parts. This is a current production "Mil Spec" model that Springfield makes. In he description on their website it says a "match grade" barrel is used. It's my belief that they are the same barrels as in the Range Officer.

The Stainless Steel Mil-Spec is built on a full-size frame and slide. The pistol is made from Stainless Steel, which has a polished finish on the flat surfaces and bead-blasted matte finish on the rounded areas. The 5 inch barrel is match grade and made from stainless steel. The slide features slanted serrations on the rear only. The mainspring housing is the original arched style found on GI issue 1911-A1s, but it includes the Springfield Armory® I.L.S.™ The pistol also has a standard spur hammer and standard grip safety. The single-sided, non-extended thumb safety and short military combat trigger are true to the original 1911-A1 design. The Combat 3-Dot sights are fixed, and the ejection port is lowered and flared. Each Mil-Spec comes with a beautiful pair of cross-cannon emblazoned walnut grips that are held in place with slotted grip screws.

Just called Springfield. They said it's the same part number. Say it goes back for warranty repair needing a new bushing or barrel - same part as what's in the Range Officer. So hopefully this makes it more desireable for someone building an entry level gun.
