Thinking of buying a 1050 with the bullet feeder.  I would be interested in comments about the feeders reliability and if you recommend adding it?
Thanks in advance for your comments.

jacketed or lead? When i had  a Mr bullet feeder i never had any issues with jacked bullets.  I imagine lead bullet lube would requiring cleaning the bin and chute.

I suspected there maybe issues with lead, and am interested in comments relative to both lead and jacketed.
Thanks

The RCBS tube feeder works with lead.

The Hornady tube feeder might, though I have no experience.

The motorized units don’t work with lead bullets well at all.

I have a Mr BulletFeeder on my 1050, it's awesome with Jacketed rounds, not great with wax lubed bullets, it gets clogged with lube.  If you load dry coated lead it works great.

For lubed bullets try their Mini Mrbulletfeeder, it's a tube feeder, in fact if I had to do it all over I might have only gotten the Mini.

I HAVE 2 MR BULLET FEEDERS ON 1050'S WITH MARK 7 AUTO DRIVES. 1 IN 9MM AND 1 IN .45 JACKETED. THEY WORK AWESOME. THE LEARNING CURVE FOR ME WAS A BIT LONG. BUT NOW I'VE GOT IT.  I WAS OVER FLARING THE CASE IN THE POWDER STATION. ONCE I LEARNED THAT WITH THEIR POWDER DIE THE FLARE IS TO BE ALMOST UNABLE TO SEE, THEY RUN GREAT. THEY ARE THE WAY TO GO. I DO HAVE ANOTHER 1050 ON WHICH I LOAD .45 SWAGED LEAD. ON THAT 1050 I USE THE MINI MR BULLET FEEDER . I THINK THEY ARE TO KEY TO ELIMINATE SHAVED BULLETS. JP

I have had no problem getting Mr. BulletFeeder to work with 9mm, .38spl or .38 Super bullets in the  115 -135 gr range on a 1050. Most are truncated cone shape, some RN. Jacketed, or polymer coat, no issues.

I recently tried to run Mr. Bulletfeeder in .45 acp. on 1050. No problem with 185 or 200 grain polymer bullets. For the life of me I cannot get it to drop "one" bullet when using ZERO or Nosler 185 JHP. I get none, or two or more. The neck flare is minimal, so perhaps I need less than minimal. Yes, I have tried putting tension on the spring to make it align, in line with the dropper. Open to new ideas on this.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
