Rear Sight Removal
Hi Folks,
Is the Les Baer rear sight drifted into the dovetail and held only be friction, or is there a set screw? I'm wondering because I might want to drill and tap the slide for a Clark Weaver-type scope base, milled to clear the front sight. Would it be practical to swap back and forth? If the rear sight is held by friction only, I would be worried about it becoming loose.
Thanks, Tom

Set Screw. Remove elevation screw and lift leaf. Remove springs. Loosen set screws. Leaf needs to be up to prevent breaking/dinging leaf. Drift from right to left.
