Some awesomeness by Jon Eulette

Just wanted to publicly thank Jon for the awesome BE pistol that arrived a few days ago. It may be a small departure from the BE traditional norm but it’s just what we envisioned.

Not bad for a bolt action 

It’s waaaaaaaay to early to use the bolt. This thing is tight, really tight. The only way it will come out of battery is with some careful nudging on both ends of the slide simultaneously. Jon said we will have to put some miles on it before she loosens up. He gave us the “100% full High Master quality BE pistol” treatment on this ground up build. Can’t hardly wait to shoot this laser.

You need to make sure the allen wrench for that racker always travels with the pistol. If not, I promise there will not be a properly sized one within a two mile radius the day you need to take the slide off. Just a little experience talking.

Can you take some close up shots of the mount?  Also, what mount is that?  I'm wanting to get a frame mount at some point...

I made the frame mount. Bought the slide racker and modified it slightly.

Jon: What material is the mount made of? Is it one piece? A wonderful looking piece of work, thanks for sharing.

There have been some very nice pistols displayed here built by you. Your comments on the various probs we mere mortals ask are surely much appreciated.
What is your pistol background? Did you start w/ one of the "Teams"?
