missing emails about new forum posts

Could anything have changed in the forum, that would block the sending of emails from new forum postings?  As of a week or two ago, I stopped getting any of these.  As far as I can tell, my settings here are correct, and I can't find them in any of my junk email settings.  Is everyone else still getting those emails?

Mike the only thing I can think of is that your still logged in. I know it won't send me notices if I am still logged in.

Aha!!!!   Thanks - I never log out.  When I return to the sight the next day, or later, it thinks I'm still logged in. Funny, it used to work when I did things the same way.  Maybe I can find a way to automatically log out after so much time of no activity...    Thanks!

Interesting. I never even knew that an email was normal. I've hardly ever logged out in the past 4 or 5 years. I do not have a computer, so I am just always logged in on my phone.

honestly guys I almost never log out and pop in daily being logged  in.. I get plenty of emails on threads I've posted on

when posting I always use the quick post block at the bottom of the page and hit the Send button

I'd suggest you change something in your profile and save it just to see if the mails start showing up.

I don't log out, and get the notifications just fine.

Well, I did log out yesterday, but no emails.  Any other suggestions?  Could any other settings have gotten mixed up?

go into your profile and then check your preferences .. hit reset and save

I went into the settings, and changed my email to an additional email I have.  That seems to have fixed it.   :-)    I don't understand why, but I'll accept it.

All the other mail going to me at that email address has worked fine for many, many years.  I'm getting all that mail except what was from this forum.  I couldn't find anything in any "spam" mail folders, or "deleted" mail folders.  For no reason I could think of, all the notifications just stopped.

I suppose I could change it back to what it used to be, and see if it continues to work.
