I have put a few 30mm scopes on for others. They had good round dots and didn't have negative magnification like the UD. If I was going cheap I'd use one.

Yes, I used a Sightron S33-4R (discontinued) Red Dot on my Marvel conversion for years. Great, crisp, clear red dot. Never any malfunctions, magnification or repair issues. I purchased new for about $200.
