Can I shoot?

All my pistols are set up for NRA rules. Trigger weights, grips, red dots, etc.
The Camp Perry CMP rules for matches this year discuss 4 lb triggers, no red dots, "service Pistol", etc.
Will I be able to shoot any CMP matches with my NRA guns?

Simple answer … No. But If you change them over to meet the rules then yes. No dots, open sights only, no scope rails either, 45 must have 4lb pull. correct ammo (FMJ only centerfire and 45, no lead) no anatomical grips, the rules are listed on CMP website.

Hold on the CMP is shooting a 2700 this year at Perry. Everything is legal

Or, you could check the CMP site and read the rules describing EIC service pistols, EIC .22 pistols, and CMP match pistols. There's another rule book covering the pistols for the CMP games.
It looks like almost any pistol that meets the NRA rules will be OK as a CMP match pistol.

What James said, depends on which CMP Match you want to shoot. Check out the rules for Service versus Match pistols.

You are better off using a more general link like - http://thecmp.org/competitions/cmp-competitions-rulebooks/ this shows all their rulebooks.
And it may be better to just do a Google search every time because they'll restructure their site at some point

I'm starting to see the light- the word "Match" threw me off. To me, any competition with pistol is a "match", but under CMP rules, "Pistol Match", and "Match Pistol" means a whole different thing.

Yes, I went around in circles for a while with the Match (CMP- Match Pistol Event) as well.
