Contemplating purchasing a GT45, cause why not? If I just wanted to slidemount an Aimpoint H1, is there any reason to use the full length sledge mount vs the short? Looks like the short only uses one screw to secure the plate, which seems a little light. I can call Pardini, but wanted to see if anyone has experience with both. Here's a link to pics:
