Bought a case of Pistol Match a while back and it's doing fine in a Marvel.

Went to shoot yesterday, opened a newer brick of CCI SV and took a couple of boxes with me. Started shooting with the CCI and was having failures to chamber. Switched to the Pistol Match and everything ran just fine. Just to make sure the previous failures weren't from a cold gun I switched back to CCI and the failures came right back.

Anyway, I've used 250 rounds of Pistol Match so far without a glitch. Certainly not a great amount, but it's promising.

Plenty of problems with newer CCI SV.  New boxes (50) have a horizontal red banner near bottom saying Target and a blue-purple color.  The rounds in the case that I bought fire, but they have nowhere near enough powder to be ejected reliably.  Same results in several pistol that have been for years happy with CCI SV.  Time to find a new supplier.  One wonders if CCI/Spear has someone new making the SV and they did not test batches.  Batch number is on box flap.  Apparently some people have received compensation after sending the bad stuff back.

Wonder how this fairs up in a Pardini new ?  My old stock CCI is running low

Dear Lablover:    Apparently, some of the newer CCI SV works, but as messages here suggest, a lot of it does not.  I have two cases where the rounds are so weak that they will not cycle any of a set of pistols that are quite happy with Federal Target (711B) and Aquila Pistol Match Competition.  It is pure speculation that CCI has someone else making SV and they seem not to perform expected QC (test a few rounds every few thousand rounds).  Sad to see this happen.  One more match in Saginaw Bullseye league and then time to find a substitute before election.
