.45 bullseye upper assembly Empty .45 bullseye upper assembly

Post by speedy1544 Sat Oct 24, 2020 10:07 am

I own a very nice 1911 Caspian framed , Marvel .22 conversion Bullseye pistol. Can I purchase a .45 Bullseye top end to use on that frame , if so where?  Might be simpler that I know.

Thanks in advance

Yes an upper could be fitted to your current lower and no affect your conversion. Any BE smith could do that.. Eulette ,Crawford, Salyer or others..

It can be done, however certain things ideal for a 22 conversion may not ideal for a 45 and vise versa. One big obvious one is trigger weight/feel. Your trigger can feel different with a 45 upper and the 22 conversion.

Trigger would work better as a centerfire gun.

Hi Frank, see you Monday? Slide would need fitting to barrel and frame, then barrel lugs to frame

You can getvstuff to go bang with loose fit parts but not what you really want.

I have ideas
