I am looking to conserve my not-too-great supply of match 22 ammo. I happen to have a goodly supply of Federal Automatch ammo, which is sold in black-and-while packs of 325 rounds. Does anybody have any experience of using this ammo in FWB AW93? If it is safe for the gun (rated at 1200 FPS on the box) I would love to use this as training ammo - it will really help me extend the life of my match ammo. At the same time, I don't want to damage my beloved AW93, if the ammo it too hot for it.

Please share your experience.

Geco Match works really well in my pistol - inexpensive (during the "normal" times) accurate and reliable. Also SK Pistol Match - twice to three times the price of Geco and works just as well.

Use the Federal! It performed damn near as good as Cci Sv in all my pistols I tried

The AW93 shoots practically everything, I wouldn't worry.

I shoot SK Pistol Match in both my Benelli and AW93. The Benelli is much more accurate with it, and the AW93 just tags along on the available stock. Wink
