O Rings for SP Bolt Empty O Rings for SP Bolt

I bought some o rings when a thread came up about them a while back. I decided to check mine. I measured the existing ones at .064" thick. The new ones are .070". The existing look fine, no discoloration or degradation. Gun still shoots reliably. I had to compress a decent amount to get the drift pin back in. With the new ones it would be like having an extra o ring by comparison. Any advice would be great.

When I replaced mine it was hard to push the plug in to allow the press pin to go in.
