That's great, but I wonder how quickly they can actually get tooled up and working. We are getting quotes of 14-18 months for relatively small industrial machines and fixtures. Many suppliers won't even quote new business.

I will believe it when I can buy them. Hope they succeed.

Scale and availability of funds does wonders in the industrial world. I work with suppliers who won’t touch smaller scale stuff, but ask how high to jump when bigger projects show up.

More competition is great. We can only hope it will bring prices down to a more rational level, but with their 100 million dollar investment so far, I wouldn't count on initial reasonable prices. They will also have to match the what I consider impeccable quality of primers by the big three. Hope springs eternal.
