My Hammerli 208s loves CCI Pistol Match! I knew a top shooter whose H-208s also shot well with it.

South Georgia Outdoors has CCI Std Vel at reasonable price. No limit.

I had a batch of GreenTag that shot 4-6" from the Ransom.  In the same gun (a conversion) Eley and others shot 1" +/-.  Double checked with Eley 1", then GT again 4-6"

I thought the Green Tag was the same spec as the standard velocity, but with tighter quality and weight range. 30 cents a round sounds pretty high, Lapua Center-X is going for less these days.

What's CCI Pistol Match? Is that SK Pistol Match? That one is a favorite of mine.

SK Pistol Match is good stuff, but is made by a different manufacturer, Lapua, I think. CCI Pistol Match is made in the USA by CCI, the same folks who make CCI Standard Velocity.

Huh, ok never heard of CCI Pistol Match before. Sorry, should have searched, it's selling direct from CCI for $15/box of 50 right now in fact, so Midway's $30/100 Green Tag is the same per round: https://www.cci-ammunition.com/rimfire/cci/pistol_match/6-51.html

SK is made by SK, while Lapua rimfire is made in the same facility in Germany. Both are excellent although they're actually quite different-shooting, the powders are clearly not the same. The headstamps are identical and it's hard to tell them apart once they've left their box!

.30 cents a round?  Now if it would automatically correct and pass through the ten ring when I have the gun pointing at the 6 ring when I fire I would go for it.

Just point the cheap ammo at the ten ring…..it works amazingly well.
